This Privacy Policy explains what information Denshin may collect or process when you use the Denshin website at denshin.io, the application at app.denshin.io, the player handbook at docs.denshin.io, and the quests, scoring systems, leaderboards, rewards, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Denshin is designed to operate with limited personal information. You sign in with a wallet signature, and we do not ask for your legal name, home address, phone number, or email address to create a Denshin profile. If you write to us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
Denshin is currently an early-stage independent software project operated without a registered legal entity.

01Information We Process
Depending on how you use Denshin, we may process the following information.
Wallet information
We may process:
- the wallet addresses you sign in with or link to your profile, and which of them is your main wallet;
- the message signatures that prove you control those addresses;
- a wallet address you submit to the white list on denshin.io (no signature is requested);
- public balances, transactions, and token and swap activity of your main wallet on the networks quests check — currently Base, Soneium and Sonic;
- if you request an on-chain score: swap count, swap volume, wallet age, and portfolio balance, read from public blockchain data;
- other publicly available on-chain information.
Blockchain data is generally public and may remain permanently available on the relevant blockchain even if you stop using Denshin.
Profile information
You may choose to provide:
- a username;
- a profile picture, which Denshin stores after resizing and re-encoding it, and which you can remove at any time;
- referral information: the code of the player who invited you, if you joined through an invite.
Your profile also carries a referral code generated for you.
Connected social accounts
If you link X, Discord, or Telegram, we receive information made available through that platform or its API, with the authorization you give when linking. Depending on the platform, this may include:
- account identifier;
- username or handle;
- on X, public account metrics, such as follower and following counts, account age, and verified status;
- on Discord, your membership, roles, and tenure in the Denshin server, and Nitro status;
- on Telegram, your membership in the official Denshin channel and chat, and Premium status.
We do not receive your social account password, and linking an account does not let Denshin post as you.
Denshin activity
We may process information about your activity within Denshin, including:
- quests started, attempted, or completed, and verification results;
- points, including season and lifetime totals;
- reputation scores;
- ranks and leaderboard positions;
- Daily Check streaks;
- team quest seats;
- referrals;
- season participation and Genesis membership;
- reward eligibility and reward history;
- anti-abuse or anti-sybil indicators.
Presence on the live map
While you are signed in to the application, your marker appears on the shared city map at your position in the game, and other players and visitors of the map can see it. This is a position on the in-game map, not your physical location.
Technical and analytics information
We may process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. This may include:
- IP address;
- browser and device information, such as the user agent;
- session data;
- approximate location derived from technical information;
- pages viewed, events, and interactions;
- visit duration;
- referral source;
- security and server logs.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Service. Analytics cookies are set only after you press Accept on the cookie consent bar. Until then, analytics storage is denied under Google Consent Mode: no analytics cookies are set, and Google may receive only cookieless signals, such as a page view, with no identifier stored on your device. Advertising storage and ad personalization are always off.
Google Analytics may process device, browser, session, event, and approximate location information according to Google’s own policies and configuration.
02How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- create and operate Denshin profiles;
- sign you in and verify that you control your wallets;
- verify quest completion;
- calculate points, scores, rankings, and reputation indicators;
- operate leaderboards, seasons, and the live map;
- determine eligibility for rewards and make payouts;
- detect bots, sybil activity, fraud, manipulation, and abuse;
- maintain security;
- troubleshoot technical problems;
- understand product usage;
- improve Denshin;
- communicate important service or legal information;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
03Automated Scoring and Verification
Denshin uses automated systems to analyze activity and calculate scores, rankings, quest completion, eligibility, and anti-abuse indicators.
These systems may use public blockchain activity, Denshin activity, connected account information, and third-party data.
Two automated results have a direct effect: your reputation score multiplies the points quests pay you, and eligibility for a season payout requires at least one verified swap inside the season window.
Automated results may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.
Where appropriate, Denshin may review or correct automated results. If you believe a result is wrong, contact us.
04Public Blockchain Data
Information stored on public blockchains is outside Denshin’s control.
Blockchain transactions and wallet addresses may be permanently visible to the public and generally cannot be deleted or modified by Denshin.
Disconnecting or deleting a Denshin profile does not remove information from a public blockchain.
05Third-Party Services
Denshin uses third-party providers to operate the Service. These include:
- Cloudflare — content delivery, network protection, and proxying for Denshin’s sites, and backup storage;
- a hosting provider — the servers the Service runs on;
- Google Analytics — usage measurement, with analytics cookies only after consent;
- WalletConnect (Reown) — connecting a wallet app to the application;
- blockchain networks, RPC providers, and blockchain data providers — reading balances, transactions, and wallet history;
- X, Discord, and Telegram — when you link an account;
- your wallet software and the protocols you use for quests — these receive your transactions from you directly, not from Denshin.
These third parties may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
06Cookies and Similar Technologies
Denshin uses cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies for:
- authentication — keeping you signed in to the application;
- remembering your preferences, such as map filters;
- remembering your cookie consent choice;
- keeping an invite code from a referral link until you sign in;
- security;
- analytics — Google Analytics cookies, only after you accept.
The website, the application and the player handbook each show a cookie consent bar and set no analytics cookies until you press Accept. Your choice is stored in your browser, separately for each site, so each one asks once.
To withdraw consent, clear the site’s cookies and stored data in your browser settings. Analytics cookies then stay off until you accept again.
You may also control certain cookies through your browser settings.
07Legal Bases
Where privacy laws require a legal basis for processing, Denshin may rely on one or more of the following:
- performance of a service requested by you;
- legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving Denshin;
- consent, where required;
- compliance with legal obligations.
The applicable legal basis may depend on your location and the specific processing activity.
08Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including operating the Service, preventing abuse, resolving disputes, maintaining security, and complying with legal obligations.
Some data may be retained longer where necessary for fraud prevention, security, accounting, or legal reasons. For example, a transaction accepted as proof for a quest stays recorded so that it can never be accepted again, and each season’s final snapshot is kept as the record of that season’s payouts.
Public blockchain data is not controlled by Denshin and may remain available indefinitely.
09Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
Some information is public by design. Anyone can see your username and profile picture, a shortened form of your main wallet address, your rank, points, rewards, and reputation score, your completed-quest and invite counts, your Genesis badge, your leaderboard entry, your seat on a team quest, and your marker on the live map. Signed-in players can also see the history of points you have earned. Full wallet addresses are not shown on the public leaderboard.
We may share information with service providers and infrastructure partners where necessary to operate Denshin.
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
- comply with applicable law or legal process;
- protect users or the Service;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- enforce our Terms of Use;
- complete a future business restructuring, acquisition, or transfer of the Service.
10International Processing
Denshin and its service providers may process information in different countries.
As a result, information may be transferred to or processed in jurisdictions with different privacy laws.
Where legally required, appropriate safeguards may be used for international transfers.
11Your Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:
- request access;
- request correction;
- request deletion;
- object to certain processing;
- request restriction of processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- request portability where applicable;
- submit a complaint to a relevant data protection authority.
Some of this you can do yourself in the application: change your username, remove your profile picture, and unlink wallets or social accounts. Unlinking a social account, or the wallet your on-chain score came from, sets that part of your score to zero. The last wallet on a profile cannot be unlinked.
Some information cannot be deleted by Denshin, including information permanently recorded on a public blockchain.

12Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information and maintain the security of the Service.
However, no online system, blockchain network, API, wallet, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your wallet credentials and private keys.
Denshin will never ask you to provide your seed phrase or private key, to send funds, or to sign a token approval.
13Children
Denshin is not intended for children.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction to use the relevant blockchain or digital asset services.
14Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Denshin develops.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
